Local Attorney Takes Law Office to Airwaves

Local Clermont Attorney Patrick L. Smith hosts a weekly radio call-in show called "Ask An Attorney: All About Florida Law," heard every Saturday morning from 9-10 a.m. on AM 790 and AM 1520. During the hour long program Attorney Smith answers legal questions free of charge. Attorney Smith's show also frequently presents guests ranging from other attorneys, financial planners, CPA's, and other professionals in order to provide their expertise.

Attorney Patrick L. Smith, of the Law Offices of Joseph F. Pippen, Jr. & Associates, practices primarily in the area of estate planning.

Attorney Smith's approach to estate planning is to charge flat fees for any estate planning documents instead of using a "billable hours" system. For example, a Will is $75, a Durable Power of Attorney is $70, a Living Will is $50, and a non-tax Trust package for a couple is $695. Furthermore, the Attorney conducts free consultations and reviews legal documents free of charge. His other areas of practice include probate, trust administration, contracts, and corporate law. Attorney Smith's Clermont office is located at 179 N. US Hwy. 27 Clermont, FL (at the Citrus Tower). You may reach the Clermont office by calling 241-8760.

Attorney Smith is available for free seminars on estate planning, charitable giving, Medicaid planning for nursing home care, and many other topics. Whether during the radio show, a seminar, or just a regular workday, Attorney Smith is available to answer any and all legal questions free of charge.

Attorney Smith has authored a book entitled The Florida Estate Planning Handbook. The handbook is designed to present an easy-to- understand layman's approach to estate planning.
